The School opened its doors on September 2nd, 2002. This fulfills the need of students with special talent in sports that, while acquiring the secondary education, they can go in for sports actively. With adapted curriculum and effective teaching and students’ sports activities (trainings, competitions) as well as with the opportunity of boarding, this School helps the students achieve better results both at school and in sports.

The school complex includes a modern boarding school, a restaurant, a sports hall, medical ward and a gym.

The boarding school consists of 28 spacious double bedrooms with bathrooms, wardrobes, desks, TV sets and Wi-Fi. 

THE FIRST Sports Basketball High School – College Belgrade is a comprehensive school comprising all the subjects provided for by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, which means that upon completion the students can apply to universities all over the world if they do not decide to go in for sports professionally.

Our culturally diverse school includes youth students from more than 33 countries within Asia, North America, South America, Africa and Europe.

Special attention is paid to pedagogical and psychological work with the students. The programs are aimed at widening the students’ knowledge and successful socialization. Psychological skills training may include self-awareness and self-confidence, goal setting, emotional control, stress management and athlete mental health.  We are constantly striving to create better conditions which fully match the needs of our students.
